The XR Lab at Flinders University, part of the College of Education, Psychology, and Social Work (CEPSW), is dedicated to advancing immersive technologies for education, research, and industry. The XR Lab promotes digital literacy and prepares learners and professionals for a future shaped by all kinds of immersive technologies.
The XR Lab provides a space for students, educators, and industry partners to design and test XR applications, conduct research on metaverse technologies, and develop strategies that support a wide range of learner needs. By embedding XR into curriculum areas such as science, mathematics, and literacy, the lab aims to enhance engagement and improve learning outcomes.
Collaboration extends beyond schools to include other community groups, and sports organisations. The XR Lab is proud to partner with Big Talks for Little People
to strengthen children’s social and emotional development through immersive experience.
